The Holidays Are Bright

In some early, amazing press, THE SKIN AND ITS GIRL just made The Today Show's list, “36 New Books We Can't Wait to Read in 2023”! Honestly, I had to show the webpage to my spouse for independent confirmation that it’s THAT Today Show and not some OTHER Today Show (??). It’s still a little surreal to have something I spent 15 years working on mostly in private out there in the world, getting seen.

I’m beyond grateful for this holiday magic and thrilled to be in the company of some fave writers like Etaf Rum and Rebecca Makkai. Lupita Aquino (who writes on Substack) selected the book.
